3 ways to wear la Marinière.

I've always been in love with les Marinière. I have no idea if there is a word in english, expect striped t-shirt. But I've always worn this kind of shirt. I mean, last year, there was a "trend marinière", like it was so fashionable. But I was already wearing these when I was five years old, and in twenty years from now, I'll probably still have ten marinières in my closet! Just for this post, I counted, and I have 15 marinières, of every kind. T-shirt, hoodies, a dress.. Everything. I think I have an addiction to it. But a fashion addiction. So it's okay. Just look how many celebrities were already wearing it ! Coco Chanel started, and it never stopped.

Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn.

James Dean and Brigitte Bardot.

So I decided to show you three ways to wear a marinière. A summer way, boyish way, and girly way. Don't mind my face!

So here's the summer way. I can't wait for summer, so  ... yeah. The sweat-shirt is from Victoria's Secret, and I bought the shorts in a random shop. I'm wearing black Dr Martens.

I love this dress so much. I found it in a lovely shop in Québec, last summer. It was made with differents older clothes and when I saw it, I instantly fell in love with it. I can't wait for summer to wear it! Because we're in march, but If I went out with just this dress, I'd be dead in a minute.

I bought this marinière yesterday to be honest. In the most perfect shop in the world if you're looking for this kind of clothes : St James. Just go to their website, it's amazing. I'm wearing this marinière with brown pants and bensimon.

I hope you enjoyed! Do you like/wear marinières? Let me know!
